While we have not made any alterations to EESD2020 plans at present, please note that we are continually monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19, both locally and globally, and will closely follow institutionalnational and international guidelines on this evolving situation.

UCC is physically closed at present and will remain so until at least 29 March 2020, as per Irish Government requirements. We will provide definitive updates on EESD2020 as soon as things become clearer on this evolving situation in the weeks ahead, and certainly no later than April 2020.

Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD2020) is the 10th iteration of a biennial international conference which attracts engineering educators and academics from all over the world with an interest in embedding sustainability in the curriculum.

University College Cork will host the conference in June 2020, the first time in Ireland, on the theme ‘Building Flourishing Communities’.
